Meet the Team

Dave Gunning
Heading up the team of instructors, Dave gained technical and expedition skills over 10 years in the forces before moving on to qualify as an off-road driving instructor with Land Rover. He has also worked for Jeep, Volvo and Ford, providing training for large and small organisations including the Environment Agency, where he instructed staff on 4x4 preventative maintenance and driving.

As a member of the Driving Instructors Association, Dave has used his driving skills as far afield as Africa.

Dave's passion is driving, finding any excuse to jump in a vehicle or take it apart to see how it works. His love of Bushcraft has seen him crafting spears with San bushmen in Africa and finding out how scared a human can become when faced with a fully grown bull elephant.
